MODE OF ACTION
Ever-safe Insect Killer is an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor. In insect or reptiles, it prevents their acetylcholinesterase enzymes from breaking down acetylcholine (a neuro transmitter) thereby, leading to prolonged muscular contraction due to increase in acetylcholine in their nervous system. This is why cockroaches lie upside down when exposed to the insecticide. They suffer muscular spasm, which lead to lack of coordination and eventually dying upside down. The action of eve-safe insect killer can be through stomach contact or respiratory action.
